Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst to join the Infrastructure Support Services Finance team in Chantilly or Springfield, Virginia.

Core responsibilities include support of the monthly financial reporting to our customer. As a member of our team you will be collaborating with multiple functions across the entire organization not only to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information but also to identify opportunities to further streamline and improve current processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial Estimates at Completion (EACs) for contracts or programs.
  • Initiates analysis of: resource forecasts and/or control account EACs; financial EACs.
  • Compiles data from multiple sources and develops performance reports.
  • Initiates variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management.
  • Makes recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience.
  • Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with Financial Analysis and Estimates at Completion (EAC)
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with a Counterintelligence Polygraph
  • SAP, Cognos and Enterprise Accounting Systems (EAS) experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years’ related work experience, 7 years’ related work experience, etc.)
