Job description: Responsibilities

RIS Finance is looking for a Financial Analyst I to join their team! In this role, you will participate in the maintenance, preparation, and analysis of financial information for the Pension Risk Transfer Valuation Team. Specific responsibilities include completion of financial research and reporting of Single Premium Deferred Annuities, calculation of retirement benefits for Workplace Savings and Retirement Solutions and Pension Risk Transfer customers, and providing related communication and support to the client service team. In addition, you will spend a portion of your time doing a variety of project-based work!

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in math, actuarial science or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Previous internship or work experience in a financial analyst, analytics or related role is preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel Proficiencies (work with formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc..)

  • Aptitude and desire to learn new skills
