Job description: Job Role Summary

  • Lead brand strategy for long-term product and innovation roadmap, new market/service entries and expanded brand footprint driving brand equity and performance

a. Lead, articulate and gain support for 3-10 year brand strategy and key brand and business-building objectives to establish and refresh brand relevancy and consumer benefits
b. Translate brand strategy into plan and go to market strategies, advocating on behalf of the FVC business as well as its customers/consumers

  • Act as a change agent, communicating the strategic vision with conviction and energy to the broader organization and key markets to ensure clear understanding and adherence

a. Align the company around the brand’s long-term direction, choices and tactics
b. Develop & oversee global brand-building plans to fulfill brand strategy (retail and commercial as needed)

  • Ensure identification and sharing marketing excellence of brand-building best practices, guidelines, and toolkits for RBU execution
  • Guide development of global marcom assets as relevant in order to execute global brand strategy

a. Optimize marcom investment, leveraging ROI efficiency and mar com effectiveness of spend

  • Leverage internal and external sources to compile ongoing analysis and reporting of new and emerging market opportunities and risks inclusive of competitive activity, consumer segmentation, consumer insights, and other policy, economic and environmental trends

a. Assist in development of new programs and ideas for optimizing brand positioning and profitability

  • Strengthen the marketing organization through people development, knowledge creation and training

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Guide and influence the regional business units (RBUs) in brand management and execution
  • Articulate the value of our brands and supporting brand strategies with Fuels Value Chain Marketing Directors and senior leadership
  • Act as lead partner with Consumer Insights in Business Intelligence group to develop insights and understanding for the brand to understand key consumer insights, consumer segments and key consumer drivers to deliver on the business objectives.
  • Ensure sharing of best practices, guidelines and toolkits to RBU marketing teams
