Job description: HRPivot is currently hiring for a Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator role in the Vernon, CA area.

This position is a direct hire with HR Pivot, and will be located onsite at one of our clients in Vernon. The position is full time, permanent, and dedicated solely to this one client in Vernon; acting as the sole source of HR; with the support of myself and other team members at HRPivot, to provide the client with a full service HR solution.

With the goal of moving companies from a reactive environment to a proactive one, we create and implement measurable strategies, ensure legal compliance, provide training for managers and enhance employee performance and job satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Serve as an HR expert to create and support the client’s HR policies and processes
  • Resolve issues and provide guidance in all HR related situations and scenarios.
  • Proactively approach HR deliverables to provide information, best practices, and training
  • Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend solutions/best practices to senior leadership
  • Manage and update HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, sick leaves, warnings, vacation and days off
  • Biweekly payroll management, preparation and payment
  • Prepare, manage and store paperwork for HR policies and procedures
  • Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information
  • Help organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs


  • Ability to set priorities, organize your day, multi-task, change direction, and provide prompt follow-up.
  • Ability to hold yourself to the highest ethical standards, and maintain client confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate with members in multi levels within an organization, and resolve issues, using strong interpersonal skills, HR, and client systems/product knowledge
  • Ability to take a broad perspective to identify solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) required
  • 5+ years HR Generalist experience required
  • Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and HR software
  • Knowledge of HR software (HRIS or HRMS and Recruitment Marketing platforms)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Act as a reliable and supportive team member
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Data-driven mindset
  • Experience with recruitment marketing
