Job Description: The qualified applicant will become part of ***’s PSG MMS IT team supporting IT infrastructure systems.

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager of IT, the IT System Analyst gathers requirements from the business, articulate on what the business needs, translate that into comprehensive system/technical design, and coordinates with Group/Division IT and/or IT Shared Services Team to deliver the solution.
  • Work with business and IT through the entire System/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), i.e., requirement/gap analysis, technical design, testing, deployment, postproduction support
  • Collecting and understanding the business overall goals, requirements and objectives, assisting in the prioritization of business technology projects, ensuring that projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment, and linking IT strategy in support of the overall business/service line strategy
  • Serve as the liaison between the business, Group/Division IT, and IT Shared Services for the technology need and act as an advocate for the business
  • Works with business area leadership and governance teams to understand project requirements, shape project requests, and provide a high-level estimate of the project effort and costs in cost-benefit analysis
  • Self-starter who is able to learn quickly and drive cross functional IT teams to deliver IT solution to the business based on the timeline
  • Perform project management tasks as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
  • Understand the business direction and identify opportunities for technology innovation
  • Ensures that teams are adhering and supporting quality procedures and policies
  • Knowledge of Data Center/MDF/IDF/VxRail/Mira Network, etc.
  • Knowledge of Engineering/Manufacturing/Lab systems
  • Act as the SME for RF Terminal/Scanner/Label Printer Implementation
  • Act as the SME for all system implementations/enhancements at the site
  • Provide support to establish the IT governance at the site
  • Assist in IT architecture, strategy and roadmap planning
  • Update, and maintain IT Asset Inventory such as applications, infrastructure components, and the relationships and interdependencies into Global CMDB
  • Provide strong customer service to users and stakeholders across the organization
  • Plan, organize, and execute on various focus groups and initiatives to drive process improvements across the organization
  • Mentor other team members on IT applications and infrastructure items
  • Identifies innovative technical and process solutions that drive the desired performance in cost, quality, compliance, customer service and revenue
  • Generate and implement ideas for improving IT operations and organization
  • Work well with team setting or deliver tasks individually
  • Uphold and implement best practices and drive practical process improvement (PPI)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong business unit consulting skills
  • Advanced knowledge of business area (Supply Chain, Quality/Lab, etc.) supported
  • Accountable for ensuring effective delivery and support of the systems assigned
  • May need to work off-hours or weekends to support business operations
