Network Administrator
Fairfax, VA

5+ years of professional experience in network administrative role (familiarity with the Cisco, Brocade (Ruckus) and Aruba network equipment).
5+ years of hands-on experience in network, routing, switching, and wireless, and VoIP technologies.
3+ years experience working with VMware ESXi, and vCenter Server.
Experience with firewalls, internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting and problem solve independently. In specific Fortinet, PaloAlto, and Cisco Firewalls.
Excellent organizational, teamwork collaboration abilities and customer service skills.
Extensive experience working with Microsoft Operating Systems, Windows 7-10, and Windows Server 2008-2019.
Experience implementing infrastructure services like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RDS, and Group Policies.
Experience managing and administering MS Azure Cloud, MS Office 365 including OneDrive, and SharePoint.
Familiar with disaster recovery and backup, monitoring and methodologies.
Good analytical skills and experience with forward/reverse chain troubleshooting techniques.
An Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in a relevant area and/or equivalent experience.
Active CISSP or CCNA certification a plus.

Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade internal servers as well as corporate clients network.
Install, upgrade, integrate, and maintain server hardware, applications, services, and settings.
Ensure network security and connectivity.
Assist in conducting IT Security Assessments internally and remotely to corporate clients.
Perform routine maintenance or standard repairs to networking components or equipment.
Assist with network monitoring, security breach, installing and implementing security programs, and maintain proper installation and application.
Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weakness.
Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
Define and apply network policies and procedures.
Specify system requirements and design solutions.
Support and administer third-party applications.
Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.
Demonstrate excellent communication and task management skills.
Work with Windows Operating Systems, Linux/Unix Operating Systems, Visio, and Microsoft Office.
Monitor, response, resolve and record service ticket via Atlassian Jira.
Any other duties as assigned by management.
