Position Title: Project Manager, Legal Operations

Reports to: Legal Operations Director and have responsibility for matters related to global operations, global legal projects, and strategy.

Location: Boston (Ideally), other US states can be considered, or Mexico City.

Global Scope. Must have availability to travel: Yes.

Area/Department: Legal

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Management responsibilities with respect to initiatives to be implemented globally or in region by the Legal Department
  • When assigned to a project, perform the following in collaboration with assigned attorneys / legal team members, as applicable:
  • Define project objectives
  • Establish strong organizational tools to drive project progress, ensure deadlines, budget and project qualifications are met, and identify and resolve issues and escalate risks
  • Determine necessary project resources, technology, and schedule- and manage and track the same
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders on strategy, progress, changes and roadblocks
  • Assign tasks and manage follow-ups to successful completion of project(s)
  • Find and implement ways to perform projects more efficiently
  • Lead kick-off meetings / weekly meetings, take notes and track progress to reach applicable milestones
  • Support adoption of streamlined processes by the global legal team

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Strong academic background (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) is required
  • Project Management Certificate or similar qualifications is a plis
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work under pressure, be proactive and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative team player
  • Proficiency in G Suite; adaptable to new technologies
  • 2 – 4 years experience of Project management, legal operations, or paralegal work
