Description

Directs and manages projects of minor to major in size and scope. Responsible for the design, definition, and proposal development, manage budget, and develop policies/standard operating procedures to ensure operational compliance are met. This position utilizes change management and project management disciplines for a successful implementation and completion of organizational initiatives. The Project Director collaborates with executive leaders to prepare and execute high level projects. Leads and directs multidisciplinary teams on operations planning and milestone tracking for strategic initiatives.
Minimum Education: • Master of Science Healthcare Administration • Candidate with a bachelor’s degree will be considered if PMI certified Minimum Experience/Knowledge: • At least 5 years of project management experience with 5 years of progressive management experience • Education and experience directly related to healthcare. • Demonstrated diplomatic, management, and communication skills to liaise and advocate • with key stakeholders. • Proven ability to write technical reports and program documents and deliver presentations. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate • cross-culturally. Required License/Certification: • Project Management Certified (PMI Certified) • Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date (applicable to employees working within City of LA).
