Inspired by the idea of merging house and garden to create an experience for the senses, our garden centers in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania and Westport, Connecticut cater to our customer with a curated assortment of plants for all seasons, as well as inspired items for the home and garden. Situated on luxurious indoor-outdoor environments, our on-site nurseries are each flanked by a cafe and garden terrace, providing the ideal environment to host events and workshops.


The Web Designer is a hands-on design role for individuals with a superb sense of typography, strong conceptual skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the digital medium. This role is responsible for the design of all digital content, from marketing emails to homepages to social content and UX.


Create visual assets for all of Terrain’s digital channels; emails, website, social media, etc.

Pull inspiration and research competitors to visually explore digital experiences and content.

Work the Sr. Art Director in developing and maintaining the look and feel of the Terrain brand online; as well as establishing seasonal style guides.

Initiate collaboration with merchandisers, copywriters, and e-commerce specialists in the production of consistent and captivating brand messages.

Identify new opportunities to elevate our brand in the digital space, staying up to date on best practices, and basic UX.

Work closely with both post-production and web production teams to ensure quality results.


Fluency in industry standard software suite; especially Photoshop + Illustrator.

Knowledge and understanding of interactive capabilities and best practices.

Experience in graphic design is required; experience in web design is regarded favorably.

Strong typography skills.

Thrives and innovates under challenging deadlines, while remaining a team player.

Online portfolio required with application.


Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Advertising or equivalent.
