Job description: A well known company in the financial services industry located in Malvern, Pennsylvania is searching for a qualified UX Researcher to join their Financial Advising Services Team. The company’s mission is to take a stand for all investors, treat them fairly, and give them the best chance for investment success. They provide financial advisors with top notch digital tools and experiences so they can focus on helping investors meet their goals. The company is offering contract roles on an 100% remote schedule and full-time roles on a hybrid schedule, 3 days a week, at their office in Malvern.

The FAS team is looking for a Lead UX Researcher to support their FAS Marketing digital product team and key stakeholders. While doing this, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing user research questions, outline/schedule research plans, and provide successful insights through qualitative and quantitative research. The Lead UX Researcher will support user experiences that cater to the needs of advisors. You will also be working with a cross-functional group of people to identify powerful solutions when it comes to advisor and business challenges. Ideally, you are someone who understands users and are driven to enhance user research, informing the design of complex solutions for needed outcomes. Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficient with Sketch or other wireframe tools
  • Ability to conduct product research leading to breakthrough product design results
  • Experience planning, developing, and executing user research/usability testing using qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Able to think innovatively and develop creative solutions to research challenges

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience or equal combo of education/experience in driving strategic and tactical research
  • Degree in the field of HCI, Human Factors, Usability Engineering, or related field
  • Ability to plan and facilitate workshops
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Strong portfolio showing an understanding of research process
